We JCI Salem Steel City Club was established in the year 1991 and it's now entering its 32nd year. associated with the JCI India an Internation Organisation having its presence in 125 countries. Our Primary mission is fostering individual development through diverse training sessions for the students, college-goers, and club members alike. Alongside skill empowerment, we are dedicated to community initiatives such as Food and clothing donations are few of the activities

JCI is a nonprofit organization of young active citizens age 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities. Active citizens are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers active citizens from all sectors of society we develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and take action. As globally minded young people, we all have rights, responsibilities and share goals. We find targeted solutions to local issues benefitting our communities, our world and our future. Embracing new ideas, collaboration and diversity, we have the passion and courage to address the critical challenges of our time.

JCI Salem Steel City has its flagship program called Varnam Mega Drawing competition for the past 16 years and we are heading into the 17 season this year along with Handwriting compeition of 7th season which has given creatives artists of 11,045 participants last year. This year we are conduting varnam on 18th of August 2024 (Sunday) at Jairam Arts and Science collge with a cost of 100 rupees for each compeition
